goddamn and I thought I had it bad at 198whp.
whats your timing set at? can you post the dyno sheet? do you have a air fuel graph too by any chance?

What was the base-line figure or number compared to the tuned figure or number? what dyno were you on? is the motor broken in yet? do you have cam gears? what are the settings of the cam gears? is the motor decked? and how much is the head shaved? what is the part number on the crower stage 3 cams? what intake manifold are you using? what throttle bodie and what size? I dont think you header is up to par for your motor? especialy since its 85mm 2.0L motor.
What fuel pump and what fuel pressure are you running?

Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to figure out whats going on here.

Nice setup...more than a little like mine. What altitude you at? 63403 cams in there? If they're the 03s then you should really get your compression higher. Your dynamic compression is probably below stock with those cams. I calculated mine out to around 11.4 just above sea level w/ a static c/r of 12.8 so the drop in compression is nothing to sneeze at.

did you have it tuned.. or just dynoed- I know what the title says.. but I'm just making sure. I'm surprised that you're that low. I've got a stock bottom end with JUN III cams and have 190whp... I'm thinking there's something wrong somewhere in the setup-maybe the tuner?

decent #'s

what were u expecting?

what type of intake and int mani? cam gears? if so, were they adjusted?
timing? redline? fuel pressure? vtec xover?

your headers may be hurting u and could be the culprit. not to familiar with crower cams but would not use them.

bass line run 174.5@7500 whp & 125.2 @6400 wtq tuned was 180.9 whp @7600 131.6 wtq @6500 but they stopped at 7600 & it was still making power. it was a tecnodyno . the motor has 3400 miles on it. they said they set the cam gears but there at 0. motor is not decked. part # is 63403. stock intake manifold stock throttle body. stock fuel pump fuel pressure set @ 58. header is ok

that's one stupid comment. if you don't know **** about them, then why wouldn't you use them? everyone i know that used Crowers make really good power. just another mislead person.

Definitely sounds like your tuner, bro. That seems too low for your setup.

i think it is not really the tunning buy maybe the throttle body and intake manifold being stock, i mean the b16 throttle body is smaller then itr, and now u have a 2.0 not a 1.8 and still using it. also the intake manifold, my friend made about the same power with similar setup

I bet if you got some custom header...you will see a big increase in whp (at least 10whp) & rpm range. Also...I would not use Crower stage 3 cams. From what I heard...crower stage 3 were tested and made minimal gains over crower stage2. I am not saying Crower is bad. I just said I wouldn't use stage 3. Thats just my opinion.

not mislead just i dont believe in crower cams and longevity. id rather have OE cams than these and ur exactly right, since i dont know **** about them, i wont use them

back to topic: looks like ur running pig rich. if ur tuner said he adjusted cams but their at zero, FP is 58, 12+ fuel on VAFC, only went to 7600rpms then i would agree and go somewhere else to tune.
tell me about ur header? what makes u think it is a good one?

my crower stage 3 cams made 19 whp and 6tq over 99 R cams, both tuned. btw my peak hp is at 8900 rpm, you might want to spin the motor a bit higher if the power has not peaked yet.

I dont think Crower cams have anything to do with the problem, i think the intake manifold, header and tuning are areas to look.

your base run seems okay.

for intake manifold I'd go with a skunk2 or oem ITR one or that new AEBS one that supposedly shows some really nice gains. I'd go with a bigger tb too.. ~68mm TB's. I'd also have them port matched if I had some extra $$.

and is your apexi exhaust 2.5"?

You should AT LEAST be at 195whp and 138ish torque with that setup.
and I agree, have someone else tune it. how long did that guy spend tuning your car? looks like half an hour while he was on the phone.

The Crower 63403 cams are fine cams, I've been running them for nearly 2 years. They're sick compared to the CTR cams I replaced. I'd guess you need a different header as badly as do I bro. My power hits a wall right around 200WHP. We need a group buy on comptech race headers.
