Lately I have noticed that the dome light only comes on if the passenger side door is open. Also when I leave the key in the ignition and open the driver side door that reminder that the key is in the ignition (or the lights are on) doesn't sound. I checked out the fuses and all seamed OK, plus I could not find one for specific doors, just a general interior and interior light fuse. Does anyone have any ideas? Could it be that switch in the door went bad?

yup.....thats exactly what is wrong....broken or stuck sensor

 

hmm....i think its your wiring or like Chief Dan says, the toggle switch. break out the voltmeter.

 

Pulles off the interior pannel and there was one lone wire not plugged in. Simple enough..musta came lose when I was putting my sirius unit back there. Thanks.

 

could be that yuor drivers door trigger is unplugged/
