Default Car cover for the Type R

Anyone have a car cover for their Type R? If so where did you get it and how much did you pay. I am interested in a full cover that will hide the car not a bra or protector.

TIA,
Alan

From what I understand they are available from the dealer (about $200).

I have the full Acura cover - got it at cost ($125-ish) not long after I bought the car. It was claimed to be Type R-exclusive, but is not. It does fully cover the car though, and comes with cable and lock. Does say "INTEGRA" on the front, which I don't care for...

I use Acura cover. About $125 or so as stated by Pat. Try http://www.ahmotor.com they have a good service. IMO, it's really not needed if you have a garage. It's only good for sunny days anyway... putting it on in the rain is a pain in the rear.

I actually use my old Honda Civic 2000 SI car cover that I had. It fits my car fine and says civic on the front which helps to throw off people. I would recommend going with the dealership cover or a custom. Don't get a walmart special. I use to have one and the quality is just not the same.

My 2 Cents

I'm also interested in a car cover, would the Acura Cover(or obviously all covers) Keep fine dust off the car while parked in a garage etc? I get alot of really fine dust that builds up quickly just by parking in my garage. It is a newly built garage so there is a lot of dust and debris floating around I suppose.
Thanks.

Yes, it will keep off dusts. It also keep the moisture out for the most part (unless it's pouring rain outside).

Try the following site.
http://www.coverking.com/

Coverking makes the best covers. You can order them from Performance Products. CoverKing has an excellent selection of fabrics. I have one of their covers for my 2001 R and am very happy with it. The fit is perfect, especially after the first time I washed it. Email me if you want more information.
