Default New best time/mph

I finally achieved my goal at home. I've run a 13.77 @99.6 at a near sea level track with my old setup, but the track in my home city is 3075 feet above sea level, so it makes running faster times a challenge. My previous best with my old setup was a 14.08 @97.5 with 50 degree temps. My new best time is 13.82 @98.2 with a 60' or 1.95 on 22x8x13 M&H Slicks. This is about a 13.3 @102 (corrected) or so at sea level. I also hit a few 99mph as well, I'd like to break 100mph, maybe when it cools down, its still fairly warm 80-90 degrees. The car is a 99 Si, 2530lbs with driver. Poor man's type-R - 185hp/135torque NA. Here are some of my timeslip numbers.

R/T .647
60' 2.000
1/8 8.889
MPH 78.33
1/4 13.893
MPH 99.38

R/T .757
60' 1.957
1/8 8.840
MPH 78.20
1/4 13.872
MPH 95.41 ??

R/T .270 (whoops)
60' 1.954
1/8 8.821
MPH 78.64
1/4 13.82
MPH 98.27

Hopefully with suspension tuning I can get it down to a 13.6-13.7 range, the front wheels are unloading pretty hard on launch, need some stiffer springs in the rear.

What sea level are you at now?

I would love to be able to race at a track below 1000 FASL.

I believe Firebird is close to 1000-1100 ft. Its usually about 3-4 tenths faster than the track here because of the elevation. I am going to try to make a trip out there and see if I can get into the low 13s.

very impressive driving skills, i'm running more power than you and still cant break into the 13's and i have bfg drag radials.. my trap speed keeps getting lower and lower (one time i ran 14.5@93mph with a 2.2 60'ft) i dont know whats going on with my car, i ran 14.2 with just 180whp =o( i dont know but after the dyno my car hasnt been running the same although it makes more power than before =o(

Yeah, I kinda jumped the gun. I was racing 11 and 12 second V8's all night, so I needed all the help I could get. I usually go anywhere between .500-.650. My best of that night was .507
