Will 90-91 teg bumper fit 92-93?
I am thinking about putting 90-91 bumper on my gsr. I kind of like the 90-91 front better and also I need a new bumper and it is about a $70 difference.

I have a '91 LS and a '92 GS-R, except for the GS-R lip I can't see a difference.
What's different about them?

THe appearance of the bumpers are different. They will bolt up however either way you want to do it. I see alot of 90-91 tegs with 92-93 bumpers rolling around. They will bolt up. what you do have to change are the bumper lights. But I'm sure you knew that already.

You have to swap your 90-91 support onto the 92-93 bumper. This may take some custom fitting with the styrofoam and the support. Then, it will just bolt on.
OR, the easier thing to do would be to buy a 92-93 bumper with the support, styrofoam and the bumper support brackets and just bolt the 92-93 piece on with no mods at all.

That's a guide for going from 90-91 to 92-93, but it should give at least a little insight into the reverse. In my opinion: 90-91 front with OEM kit > 92-93 front > 90-91 front. But good luck with yours.

I like the 92-93 but for now I am just trying to paint my car and get it done. So maybe next summer I will go back to the 92-93 front when I might have time to do the whole car over again. I want to build it from the ground up and do a full color change.
