Default h22 (Type S) in a 4th gen question?

ok im just getting some ideas together and i wanna know how this all works......what im thinkin is just swapin in a type S motor then i won't really mess with internals...now...when its in the 4th gen..what bolts onto it...will 4th gen h22a parts work with it...with header and pulleys ...becuz im sure 5th gen and 4th gens use different pulleys...what works with it what doesnt...becuz i do'nt wanna have to deal with the having to use a 5th gen header and having the 5th gen exhaust the only thing that will bolt up to it ..and due to the fact 4 and 5th gen have different length in there exhaust i think you see where im goin..if this post is confusing im sry
