Another stolen Integra (Don't you get tired of these?)
Well I get home around midnight last night, park out front of the house as usual. Wake up this morning, walk outside to go clean the car for the NW area meet today, and, no car
About the only saving grace is that it was fully insured, so I have to wait until Monday to hear about that. All thieves should die
That's what should happen to their skulls and I would be the first with a hammer in hand!

I've been paying attention to these stolen Integra threads here lately. What've I've noticed is that all the reported stolen Integras were pre '98 models, ones that don't have the immobilizer in them (not sure exactly what year the immobilizer was standard). I presume those with the immobilizer were just broken into and/or flatbedded. I know that a car isn't completely theft proof but the immobilizers will keep the amateurs from stealing the car and apparently it's working to some degree.

Pretty soon Integra's will no longer exist. It's almost always a GS-R or Type R too. Well hopefully they will at least recover yours...mine was never found.
Who is your insurance company? I had SAFECO...they gave me an ok settlement, but I hear State Farm rips you off.
I had a 98 and I know there was no way mine was flatbedded...It would have been too hard the way the car was parked.

Re: to the immobilzer. To my knowledge, the car is unable to be started without the key present. It will crank the the ECU will not fire.
Know whats real sad, I'm sure half of these damn parts from these stolen cars get sold right on this board. Agree anyone???

As far as insurance goes, I have AllState, found out I have to wait three weeks just in case it's found
For security I had one of the higher-end Clifford alarms, can't remember which one exactly. I just hope that it may have been a joy-riding spree and they didn't really know what they were doing, but that's most likely not the case seeing as how they didn't trip the alarm. I was able to pick up a "loaner" ride from my uncle whose not too far away, but rollin tough in the Ford Aerostar van just isn't the same as the Integra
We'll see how this **** goes in the next couple days/weeks. If I have to get another ride, what're your suggestions? Stay with Honda/Acura or broaden my horizons? Give me some ideas. Thanks everyone.

I hope it works out for you Nick, if my car got jacked i'd probably stay with honda/acura. Best thing to do is lojack that ****. Did you have a kill starter??
i'm assuming ignition kill switch or something along those lines...i posted in audio/security forum, but to no avail. how much would one of those run? (sorry for being a post *****). i'm incredibly sorry about your loss. it hurts just to know someone tried...let alone do it. best of luck to you.
sorry hear about your lost. damn low lives always ruin our fun. i got a gsr and i'm too scared to take it out of the driveway after reading all these post about stolen integras. hope everything works out for you

this is true and it sucks...Those guys will get theirs though. What goes around comes around eventually.

If you are paranoid then do more security measures, just an alarm won't do. Kill switches cost under 20 dollars to do and they are probably the most effective security measure you can do. Put an autolock on too and you will have a little less to worry about.
