OK to use used type s cams???
i always heard from my dad and his friends (V8 guys) that u should not buy used cams. i can get type s cams and aem cam gears for 300 bucks. think i should get em or is it really a bad idea to get used cams

I have heard the Type-S cams provide a whopping 1-2whp gain.
You have to understand that the Type-S' power comes from several components that account for 20hp(not whp) gain.
Pistons, cams, intake manifold........
Adj cam gears alone will more than likely net you bigger gains than the PTS cams.
Chris from the de-funked HP.com got 11whp from adj cam gear on his B20/B21(?)
I am anxious to see my gains from them!
Buy it all and ebay the cams!
