my rear hatch wont open when its hot outside, i can move the little bar to the open position and seems like it is going to open but when i lift up it doesnt budge, but when the cars body cools down it will open, anyone else run into this problem? or can anyone give any suggestions on how to fix it?

maybe try spraying some lubricant in there or something. Some WD40 or if you have some kind of silicone lubricant, that may help ya out.

 

Rubber seals.. Only thing I can think of

 

Hatch is sticking to the seals, you need to lube it will some silicone....preferably in a tube, the spray will just soak in and dry up.

 

I'am having the same damn problem, but not just when its hot it does it whenever it wants to. sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. bump
