my 98 accord i hear like a little sound commin from the tip of the muffler like a pa pa pa pa. is that the beginning of a hole starting to form in the resinator or some where? thanks

Could you elaborate a little more?
Does it makes this noise all the time?
In all RPM range?

 

a similar sound was coming from the muffler of my old accord, kinda sounded like a VERY obnoxious aftermarket exhaust, and yes it ended up being a hole. just get down there and look over the canister and the piping, chances are that you'll find a hole.

 

yea at idle...might be hole, next time i go for an oil change n the car's on the lift, ill take a look. thanks
