Default just installed my eibach prokit springs and tokico illuminas...have a question

the spring and shock combo is really nice i am really satisfied with them. but it is a little higher on the passenger side of the car than it is on the driver side. i get like a 2 finger gap on the driver's rear, and a 2.5 finger gap on the passenger. on the driver's front i get like a 3 on the front and 3.5 on the passenger's side. but this is what i'm guessing. i went on 3 turnaround ramps goin about 40-45 mph....almost 50 on one of them. the turns that i took also put alot of lean on the driver's side. but i think that it could also be due to the fact that the springs need to settle. what do ya'll think? please give me any input you can think of.

note: when i took those turns this was like 45 ins after i installed the springs/shocks.

my borther's gsr have the same problem.it have the eibach sportline springs but we figure that this problem is caused by using the stock struts with aftermarket springs, but now that you tell me that you have the same problem ,even with tokico iluminas, makes me wonder , what is the real problem????

my question is, did you notice that before you drove it? you might have the springs positioned wrong. are you using adjustable spring perches? if so, you might be off a little. what are your spring rates?

We've noticed at our shop when we lower civics that some of the fenders sit lower than others. I know it sounds stupid but we have measured a couple of different cars stock and the fenders measure out different.

I have a 93 eg and just put on some sportlines about a week ago, 5mo. old monroe struts, spc camber kit and mine is doing the exact same thing . Its kinda buggin' me I thought that maybe I had some frame damage or susp., now that i read this i am not sure. try meas. from the ground to the jack points on all four corners. mine were like 1/8" higher onthe pass. side? creepy

Just go to a good quality alignment shop.
U might have to pay a few bucks just to get is gauged, but you'll find out sooner or later that you're gonna be visiting them quite a number of times.

in the b series.net forums there are a few other dc5 owners with the same problem.all using the sportline springs on gsr models.if i can find a way of dealing with this problem, i will buy a coil over setup, probably from skunk2.

maybe it needs to be settled, i had those springs on my gsr with agxs, but now that suspension is in my hatchback. it sits higher because of civics are lighter.
