I have a buddy that is selling a 3.0 2000 accord motor and I was just wondering if it would fit in my 97 hatch? Let me know.

 

I believe 'no' would be the simple answer.

it fits, but why? it would cost more to do it and it would be slower. YAY!

dont be so closed minded. when the RSX first came out. i bet people asked this question and got that same answer.

anything is possible. but the question is, do you have enough money for all the custom work that youll need?

maybe you'd be better off with a k20a. how much is he selling the motor for? and you want to do all the R&D you need to get the motor working?

I agree, when i first started thinking about putting a new engine in my EG, I asked if they could put an accord V^ in my car and the awenser was yes, but the labor was going to cost me more then my swap + bolt ons+labor..... If you have enough money just about anything is possible, If you have enough money the russians will fly you into space and bring you back..

 

Maybe an easier swap would be into another earlier model accord?
