Well, I have heard of people slapping VTEC heads on this particular bottom end. I am not sure how difficult it is, though.

b21a1 is from vtec, the b21 is known as the basterd B. Its really pos in the n/a world, but boosted its another story. You can put a vtec head on the car, but not worth the effort.

I can talk **** too i owned one

To get the head to fit you need to relocat the bolt holes on the head. After that is all peachy

wtf did u just say???? NA but with a vortech. Do yourself a favor and buy a pinto before you throw all your money into something you know nothing about, either that or start learning about cars. Get rid of that B21, that's crap.

honestly man..calm down.
9 posts and yer comin' out swinging..lol
i heard your engine has the worse RS ratio..
do you see any car with your engine at ANY events?
think about it. the more you research, the more you will find out that
your engine is not a great place to start...or finish.
but hey if u still decide to start with that block..good luck man.

Not to be rude or anything, but I think you should do a whole lot of reading and research before you spend a dime. I think you're a bit confused on several points.

I think you mean low rod to stroke ratios, and yes they are ****. I too had one, but I had the sense not to blow a nickel modding it.

but you could theoritecally put a B16 head on it, just like an LsVtec...
Why would that be any different that an CRVtec (obviously you'd have to change the rod bolts, and add a girdle if the R:S was that shitty) what about swapping? does one of these anus motors have anything in common with the LS blocks? I thought they were totally different.
