Default Cosworth Pistons

I'm working on ordering some Cosworth pistons. I need to order a minimum batch of 24 for it to happen. They'll be for a B18C, compression will be 12.6:1. They'll drop into a B16 but compression will be around 11.2:1. Price is estimated at $600 a set. Comes with rings and wrist pins. Let me know if any of you are interested. Please refrain from telling me why (insert manufacturer here) is a better choice. Yes, this might belong in the classified forum but I figure anyone who will be interested in these and know what they're worth will be in here. Thanks.

I don't know. You either want a set or you don't. I'm not here to be a salesman.

Just to drop a line on Cosworth Pistons...

From my experience, Cosworth was one of the first to experiment with "gas trapping" in their piston dish designs.

Something about holes drilled into the dish that would fall below the first ring and at high RPMs the combustion pressure would force the 2nd ring more tightly into the cylinder wall to increase ring seal. Many F1 engines use these kinds of techs. to help their motors maintain ring seal while they race...that, and having "Oversquare" engine designs. Heard they are some of the better pistons to buy, more geared towards the professional market.

Wondering if anyone can successfully build an Oversquare CAR engine. If so, be interesting (working on this myself)...ANYWAYS...

For what it's worth, Cosworth manufactured JUN's pistons.
