So whats the difference?
What size is the piping on the Si-R.

I've been trying to find a stock looking twin tip muffler for a while now but I dont want to spend an arm and a leg on the HKS.

Anyone know where you could buy just a muffler and tail pipe like the one on the right?? I would just get the rest custom mad then. Then it would look stock but be a hell of a lot cheaper than the HKS system!!

A friend of mine is running an ANSA muffler. Its looks totally stock but performs better. It has the stock looking dual tip design, but i am unsure if he added those or if they came with it. I want to say they came with it because i have looked through the ANSA catalogs before and seen pics.

Here's mine. magnaflow oval painted flat black, single in (2 1/2) dual out (2 1/4) with mandrel bent 2 1/4 piping. I also have a 24" magnaflow resinator. sounds fairly deep not raspy at all.

That setup looks great.
Did you have to get the twin outlets custom bent with tips?
How much did you end up paying in total?
I think I'm gonna do this eventually, only in axle-back form.

Well it looks like a super-clean ride.

Did you get the tips fom magnaflow or are they autozone/pep-boys style?
Did the shop basically just work with the stock muffler for a template? (2.00 outlets right, and 2.25 inlet?)

Thanks. the tips are from magnaflow as well and the muffler is 2 1/5 in and dual 2 1/4 out. I told them that I wanted a stock looking exhaust so I just picked out the muffler and tips and they allready have the 2 1/2 mandrel exhaust in stock that they pre make and just stock it. All I did was at work I put the car up on my lift and painted it all flat black.
