usdm and jdm differences in repect to the clutch????????

ok so my thinking behind this gopes as follows:
i want to get my car to 200 whp and have a nice oem clutch (quality and feel) so from what i have heard jdm itr engines are underrated like mad. which would put them damn near 200 or close enough to be able to handle 220-225.
sooooo yeah basically i wanted to find out if the u.s. itr spec and j spec were the same, and yes i know the itr fly wheel is lighter. thanks for the info guys keep it comin
