Default HELPPPP!!!! Braking issues with ITB's

Over the weekend we completed our build up, and installed the ITBs. We were aware that the ITB will alter the braking setup, however we werent expecting what we got, THE CAR BASICALLY DOES NOT STOP. The braking feels as if you were driving with the car off and trying to stop, it takes FOREVER for the brakes to grab and stop. Seems like the brake is not getting enough vaccum, however all the vaccum lines are hooked up to a "vaccum manifold" and the booster is connected, what can we do to help better the braking???

What kind of solutions are there for a possible fix, if there is one.

TIA

What size is your canister? You should be good with a GSR IAB box or something of that size. T all 4 runners ITB together (using the nipples on the bottom), and also T the FPR vac line ( if u have a vac dep FPR) to the runner lines.this T should now form to one vac line to the can.the MAP needs its own line.dont T it with the others.just run it straight to the can. same with the booster, run straight to can (to its own fitting)..

I learned this from CHEETAH/Greg from GBRTuning. He also said stock size/diameter vacuum line is fine.

Kinda odd Arno, plenty of people get enough vac for the booster from one runner :shrugs:.

Yeah you need to fabricate some sort of vaccum box. Had to do the same thing for a customers car. You can just take a little trip to home depot to find what you need.

Try PM'ing user 'Len' or one of the guys from P1. I know Len was similar problems with his Toda set-up.

P.S. You gotta give me a ride in that thing, you ****!

Default (none)

You need to install a check valve between the brake booster and wherever you have tapped for a vacuum source.

Good luck.
