Default HEADER GASKET PROBLEM

ok guys hope u can help with this one. I had recently purchased a chikara header for my honda accord. The problem is, is that i have blown the mid-flange gasket 3 times in the past month...and quite frankly it is getting ridiculous and costly!! i cant seem to figure out what the problem is....i have tightened and re-tightened the 3 bolts and this most recent time even used lock-tight on the bolts....and i deas what could be causing this problem.....??any help or thoughts would be great

i've had the same problem with my kamikaze header. mine would blow about every 3 months. kamikaze makes a copper gasket that works good. i used longer bolts, 2 nuts for each bolt and some high temp loctite to hold it down, hopefully it will hold long enough till i get my h22 in.

a difference in headers is qualty of welds and quality of flanges.....i had a DC upper and pacesetter lower (all that was offered) on an 86 teg motor in a crx that i just welded the two together....never leaked again after that...but make sure it's not warped and that everything is fitting flush/even....a copper gasket would also be an option
