I changed out my old axle and tried to install new one. I got the new axle to go into the spindle/hub, BUT i cannot get the axle back into the tranny side. It is the driver side axle and the car has an automatic transmission. People say it should slide right in but I am having trouble. Some have any ideas???

 

I had troubles getting one of my axles to go in once. I kept taking it out and looking in the trans hole thinking something was in the way, but nothing there. After using a few choice words, I got back to trying to get the axle to go in and it did....Just keep trying you will get it.

 

i had a bitch of a time putting an axel into a jack shaft once....get some tranny oil rub it on the axel and put into the hole...once you have it somewhat in twist and push...sometimes its a bitch...
