AC condenser fan and compressor doesnt start!!!
the AC condenser fan and the compressor clutch in my 92 eg civic are not activating when i turn the AC switch on... the idle goes up and everything.. i ´ve checked if the system is low on R12 but is OK.... i dont think BOTH relays (fan and clutch) are bad.... what could be wrong?????
maybe there isn't enough pressure to activate the pressure switch or it could just be a bad pressure switch. Try jumping the wires at the pressure switch to see if the fan and the clutch come on.
Did you check the fuses? The compressor wouldn't start if the fan doesn't. My similar problem was fixed by replacing a seized fan motor.

there´s a 20A fuse labeled "condenser fan" i´ve checked it and is ok.... but about the condenser fan failure theory... let me check... i´ve replaced it about a year ago.. so is not THAT old..... the relays dont even make that "ticking" noise...
I believe if your low-side system pressure is low, the compressor wouldn't start.
I assume it's a recent problem, so fan/fuse would seem to be the most likely point of failure. Do you hear the compressor clutch engaging at all when you turn on the A/C?

I had this problem right after my swap. The plug for the harness right behind the driver side headlight was not plugged in all the way. Glad it was easy (and cheap).

nop.. the compressor clutch doesnt engage.... and i jumped the low pressure switch and nothing happens... the failure was like: in the morning everything was fine, 3 hours later, when i restarted the car.. the ac compressor and condenser fan were dead
first off if the idle goes up then you can rule out pressure switches being bad. check for pin outs on your manual a/c comtrols. alos check for ecu pin out and make sure that everything is ok there.
Ok , i´ve checked the black/red cable from the A15 ecu terminal trough the 2nd 8 conector pin (behind the right headlight) i found a faulty wire (blk/red).. i removed the conector.. cleaned the pins... repaired the bent wire and AC again!!!!!!!
