Today i just put in a full tank 87 grade gas...which is unleaded.
Anyways...i drive for 44 miles and the tanks on 3/4 full. WTF?!
Then, now at 137 miles, the needle reads 1/2 a tank. DAMN! I switched the O2 sensor, brand new, new clutch, new fuel filter...still...runs RICH! Anyone have the same problem?

I'm getting about 10-12mpg right now with a bolt-on LS. I don't know why, throwing no o2 CEL's.. but thats the most common problem with low gas milage; so as soon as I can find a replacement I'm doing that. Getting 10mpg on a Honda ******* sucks.

naw...over here, the highest you could get is like 92 or something, but i think gas is gas...they're both unleaded, just that one's cleaner then the other. Now racing fuel, that's something else.

ok from what you just said was that you went for 1/4 of a tank and got 44 miles. then you went til it hit the 1/2 tank and it says 137 miles. what is wrong with that. your car is not running rich. its just how your guage is off. mine can go through what it says is 1/2 tank for 90 miles but at the end of the tank i still get my 240-260. so its not that you are running rich its that your guage is messed up. **** happens deal with it.

well good for you. you got 300+ miles on a tank. how is that bad. obviously your not running rich. its your guage. it goes down real quick and then for the last half takes along time, right. thats the same thing that happens to me. your not running rich if you still get the right gas mileage.

the motor is designed to run on premium.. 87 isnt premium last time i checked.. i would suggest some good 92+ octane gas, some injector cleaner, and maybe some isoheet so you can get the bad contaminates out of the gas tank

yea, your gauge could be off.
If something like that happens take a really hard left turn and watch the needle go up.

24-25 mpg. shift at 3,000 rpms. i would die if i got 10-12 mpg...gas is already expensive. does an intake improve gas mileage?

Yea, you should only run 100 in your LS.... It needs it.
Anyways, with an LS youll be fine on 89. Personally, I run 91, but youll be fine on 89.
