I wasn't pushing it hard or anything, and i started to hear these scraping noises. Anyone know how the shield is connected? I have no idea about this shield, it is about 8 inches in lenght. Must it be welded or crimped back on? Please help, thanks.

It's underneath and in the middle of the car, its about 6 away from the front wheels.

It's metal, i think it might be the cat. heat shield.
Yeah, it probably is the cat heat shield...the nuts have tiny welds on one side, and if they have come loose, you'll probably need to drop the cat out in order to get it back on. I don't think there's enough room to get the necessary tools up there.
