My tranny makes a wierd noise now... how much life in her???
My tranny d15b7 dx tranny makes a wierd noise when coasting in gear. Sorta a grinding noise. I did a search and was told it was the main shaft bearing going out. Now I know its a cheap part but the labor costs on installing it isnt worth the time to me because Im going to swap.
My question is how long do you think my tranny has before she goes? I just need to get to work for a few more weeks. Is there anything I can do to help slow the destruction of my tranny?
