Default HELP! I can't figure out what this plug is for!

There is a hose that connects to my steering rack, its used for power steering fluid. Right before it connects with the steering rack at the bottom of it is a green plug with 2 prongs coming off of it and I can't figure out for the life of me what the hell it'd be used for. Does anybody have any ideas?

Padawan can probably answer this question...try PM'ing him. Also try reading some of his posts you might be able to figure it out that way.

Good luck!

Why don't you go look at it again and then tell us where it attaches to, wiring-wise. The knock sensor plug is back there in the vacinity.

Also, what kind of motor is it and what chassis?

ITs the PSP or Power Steering Preassure Switch.

Circle plug, 2 pin, Green.

so what do I do with it. I've got a 94 Si with a b18b engine and no power steering. I wanted to hook it up to(for many reasons) But I didn't know what to do with that plug. What connects to it. All I know about the power steering is there is a hose connected to my steering rack, that hose goes to the top of the pump, the bottom of the pump connects to a resivoir tank and than a belt betweent the pump and crank pulley. So what about that "PSP switch?" How does it fit into all of that?

if your steering rack doesn't have the preassure switch on it, don't worry about.

Just tie the plug out of the way.
