Just looking for suggestions.....OEM Type R Front Lip or a CF Type R lip....or any other suggestions for a 98-up front?

 

Neither. Both of the choices you mentioned are somewhat brittle and will crack if you happen to bump a curb (and we all do). Go with the Comptech ITR lip...urethane rocks.

 

JDM SiR lips are great too. I'd stay away from CF lips either way because those things sit lower than OEM lips and have almost no flexibility. but it sure looks cool tho.

 

What does the SiR lip look like? Same as the 98+ USDM ITR lip?

 

I dont think there's an SIR lip for a 98 front considering in Japan, they were running the 1 piece headlight front end...not the circle headlights anymore.

 

ah my bad, I thought it was 94-98. Just get a oem lip and be done with it I say then.

 

get what looks good.... if u dont get what u want the first time ull regret it and spend more $$$ oh and just for the record Ive never hit a curb or anything cemented to the ground for that matter ... with my front lip.
