Well for one your battery was dead, so my theory is your alt aint charging properly. Which would explain why the car is drying, with low power it will heistate like a mother.

If you can get it to turn over again, check the voltage at the battery poles, should be something like 14.x volts when the car is running...if not, something is up with your alt....could be corrosion in the connector...more than likely the alt is toast.

As for the hesitation due to increased throttle, you mgiht not be making enough power to create sparks all the time.

Check your alt first
Then I'd consider your distro.....but I'm still curious as to why your batt we be low.

BTW never boost a battery if the voltage is lower than say 11 volts....or you'll fry it.

his battery died because he repeatedly tried to start it, right? most likely......

also, check you cat and see if it's clogged up. good chance it is.
