are you speaking from experience?
As far as bolt on units, your best bet is to get the TWM dcoe style weber sidedraft manifold for your sohc, and get the 2 individual DCOE weber style TWM ITB's.
or
you can make your own using 954 motorcycle throttles. Ports almost match the d series intake ports. Im working on my airhorns right now actually. gotta get back to work. peace.

Those are Keihin FCR flatside motorcycle racing carbs. Awesome units. The ae86/4age croud has been using/adapting those for quit some time. Those rcrew dudes also have a couple cars with those installed on B series power units.

A ready to buy ITB setup for d's would be nice..</TD></TR></TABLE>
There is already a ITB set up out for d series.
You can purchase a manifold from TWM, Weber, or Pierce Manifolds made for a d16 sohc motor that is able to fit 40/45 DCOE Weber/mikuni/dellorto sidedraft carbs.
Then you purchase Weber Redline, or TWM Sidedraft DCOE style ITB's. You would need 2, like dual carbs. Each dcoe injection unit has 2 barrels. They have a TPS,linkage, fuel rail that spans across both units, etc etc.

pretty much you can work from most motorcycle engines...i suggest the CBR f4i TB's 38mm and have a TPS and stuff that you can easily convert over...
Here is an example picture
there are a few different ways of doing this..check on page one for a damn good write up.

Mugen did make the ITB kit for D-series engine before, back to 10 years I think.
I saw it once while I was in Taiwan... the car was a 5th civic coupe, with a ZC motor which was built and tuned by mugen. This motor was originally doing some serial racing in Japan, after achieved its goal then some guy in Taiwan just bought it and brought it to Taiwan's TTCC racing events.
that car was even reported by taiwan's option magzine....
but I think it's hardly to find those kits nowdays. just share some info with you guys

Actually it was a mugen DCOE sidedraft manifold/linkage kit (intended for sidedraft carbs) that they had in productiion for the ZC's. I have the actual advertisement for it on my computer.
Older Mugen motors and set ups also ran the Keihin CR 35 series carbs (cr not fcr).
jfyi.
