Will a gsr cat back fit a type r?
i don't think any gsr catback will fit. in fact, im almost positive any gsr cat-back won't fit a type R. Different chassis... When i bought my catback exhaust the box said it was for an LS, and i asked the store if that was right and they said yes, LS and Type R are same, but gsr isn't.
Totally agree with jsk62 .. When I got my R, i tried to swap the Greddy Power Extreme from my GS-R to my R and it would not fit. The B-pipe was a little too long (about 2 inches worth) making the "hump" over the rear axle almost impossible to fit. After some major struggling, I was able to mount the system but I took it right off. The tailpipe sticks out about 2.5" inches in the back and all the rubber hangers were stretched and agled backwards.

Out of curiosity, what is different about them?
