***Oil catch can without intake returnline***
Are there any negative side efftects from the pressure loss of running a catch can without the return line back into the intake tract....Just wondering I was thinking about investing in a Trust or Cusco can...
the vacum from the intake manifold pulls the air out of the crankcase when it's not pushing it out...
So you'd get less breathing going on inside the crankcase...
I wouldn't recomend it...
It's also illegal and if you live in a state that inspects at emmissions testing they'll probobly notice...
Plus once it's gone to a catch can there's no reason to not have it go into the intake... If you're that paranoid about oil fumes put an inline fuel filter in between the catch-can outlet and the intake manifold inlet. (I currently have that instead of a catch can).
