Default Will a 96 Accord v6 Tranny Fit a 98 Accord V6?

My friend wants to know if . . . a 96 Accord V6 tranny (C27A4) will fit on a 98 Accord V6 (J30A1)? Please post up some info . . . anything would be greatly appreciated

completely different engine and tranny

you will be better off with first gen legend V6 for the 5th gen accord v6

or tl tl-s tranny for the 3.0 98-02 6th gen accord v6

why it will not fit? because parts are not interchangable sometime

the 96 accord uses a different family of engine, it is a C series, while the 98+ accords are J series engines for the v6's
