Default HyTech clearances after installation.

Here are the clearances after the HyTech header was installed...the brown run on the header was some water that I managed to drop on it from above and forgot to wash off. You can see where we had to shave the cover for the flywheel, and it's still very close.

With how picky the shop was it took them about 4 hours, including shorting the B-pipe by 8 1/2 inches.

Not that I have noticed...but then again I'm not using an engine oil temp guage.

Great, the power delivery is so linear it is deceptive.

I don't think he should have any issues with oil/tranny temps going up. When I ran turbo with a moroso pan, I had fitment issues with the down pipe that had similar CLOSE clearances as austin's. Oil temps only creeped up when I was on boost and keep in mind the temps of the manifold & pipe are much greater when in boost as oposed to NA. So, no worries.

The Spoon Race car puts stuff ( I am not sure what) over the header because during long hard driving the oil temp. will go up. I am not saying that your car will go up, but if it does.......then that might be the problem.

But, That header looks sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!! If only I had money

My SMS is tight around the flywheel area too. You can always wrap your header if you're concerned about heat.
