Default ef/da brake upgrade questions

i got a 89 civ hatch...im planning on swapping out my rear drum brakes with some da rear discs...im going to be taking the rear discs off the car myself...i know what i need to get, but should i get the e-brake cable also...i work at napa auto parts..so i can get another cable for cheap...if i dont decide to take the cable out of the car..can i just cut it, or? would it be easier to take it off the car , or should i cut it and buy a new one? let me know what you think i should do.

do you think i should take the front brakes also..to upgrade the fronts on my 89 std civic? if i got the front knuckles with hub and bearing, calipers and rotors..would i be able to use them on my car even though i dont have a b-series? will my axles fit in the da hubs? i doubt it but , let me know for sure.
and do you think its a good idea if i get the master cylinder and brake booster if only get the rear brakes?
remember i work at napa auto parts...so i want to make this as easy as possible..im not going to be taking this da apart at my house...im going to bring tools to someone elses house and perform the work there so i want it to be as easy as possible.
thanks for the help/advice.

just take the cables. theyre not that hard to get off. first thing you do it get inside the car and disconnect the 2 lines that are going to the e-brake handle. they should just hang there. then go under the car and follow them and take out each bolt that is holding them up. i think its 3 per side. if you wanna cut the e-brake lines you better bring some heavy duty metal cutters. they dont cut very easily

master cylinder and booster are recommended. prop valve is a must

sorry i dont know about the fronts. i dont believe your axles will fit but i'm not 100% sure

STD axles won't fit in DA knuckles. But DA knuckles also throw off your suspension geometry, so don't get them.

Get from an Integra Coupe:
-Rear Trailing arms with brake cables
-Booster and MC (not needed but worth it)
-Prop Valve

where is the prop valve?
the booster is right to the right of the MC right?
do they both just unbolt from the fire wall?

so...***** the front brakes , i dont need them?

well lets try this again thanks to this damn hurricane making my power go out

the prop valve is actually the proportioning valve. its like a distribution block for brakes. its on the passenger side shock tower in the engine bay. follow the hardlines coming from the master cylinder. they look like this (you only need one). the booster is the black thing in this pic . the booster is the black thing holding the master cylinder on the top of the drivers side engine bay. to take off the booster you need to go inside the car at the pedals. follow the brake pedal up under the dash and at the top of it theres a through bolt that attaches it to the booster. take that bolt out (i believe it was held in by a cotter pin). then take off the 4 nuts around the booster and it should pull out the engine bay. hope it helps

This is sorta wrong. They do through it off. But its nothing a Camber kit and an alighment cant fix. Its really not that big of deal.
