will a cams (skunk2) lobes wear down if i dont get valve adjustment?
basically, my friend is selling his stage 1's that were used for 1k-2k miles. he had them initially adjusted after the install but was told by the mechanic to have them re-adjusted after 100 miles or so, but never did. will there be any wear on them?

It won't cause cam wear if the valves are not adjusted 100 miles after install. It's just a good idea to recheck valve clearances after everything has seated in, so to speak. The reason to readjust them is to have the engine running at it's best, which it won't do if the valves are out of spec.
