200 MPH Homie Chrome will fix her right up....screw JB Weld, costs too much, the 200HC will be like .99 and if it happens again youll always have more....it also comes in a variety of colors like camo if you want to go out hunting

Sorry for the lack of details, that happened from Hydro-lock(my CAI sucked up water like a straw).... I am currently building an h23/vtec to replace the block

PS i will never own another CAI as long as I am owning a car....

Yeah, how deep were you? Did you immerse the cone in water, and did you have a bypass valve installed?

It was pretty deep, it was during a severe thunderstorm w/ flash flooding, that the road I was on got some of, it was at LEAST 6 inches deep, but my wheel well had also worn off, so the water from my tires was probably spraying the water right into the filter

DUCT TAPE

Damn MAN !!!! That $hit almost happened to me once on my old H23!!!! I new cause I pulled it outta gear while I was going through the water, I could begain to hear my idel die&gt; Pulled over in the poring rain and rimped out the CAI!! Threw the Ice man one for the way home!!!

Yeah I was too afraid of this happening so I just put the cone where the 2nd piece that goes into the fender well would connect. Battery makes a nice heat shield. No water problems.

Damn that sucks, same thing happen to my girlfriend but she didnt put holes it she was actually able to shut it off in time and just bent the rods.
