It may be time to say goodbye to the GSR...
I am a sophmore in College and this summer my 95 GSR w/ 52k got in an accident with a drunk driver. The whole front end was mashed up pretty good but there was very little damage done to the frame and the air bags did not deploy, so insurance decided not to total it. Over 5 thousand dollars and 2 months later I got my car back, and with in the first two days of having it back I have had to get the resognator fixed and now the break pads are worn and I may need to replace the rotars. I love the car, but being at school I only get to drive it in the summer. If you were me, would you keep the car and get the brakes fixed or sell the car. I have always wanted a type-r so I was thinking of buying one come next spring, but that is up in the air. What do you think I should do?
I had the same thing happen to my first Civic HB at about 30K miles. Had it fixed for about 7K and drove it another 220K miles.
The rotors might be fried from stomping on them before the accident. If the body doesn't rattle and the lines are straight I'd say keep it, or find a sucker on ebay. Finding another with that low miles will be hard and the engine and tranny are probably fine. It's a hard decision. Good luck.

Sorry to here about what happened to your car. My Friend had a 97 GSR totaled it. He misses that car everyday. It is a beautiful machine. I say the only way you sell it is if you are definitely going to get the Type R, because you will miss that B18, if you get anything other than an integra.
I would buy your car if you were on the west coast.

Let's see, you need new front rotors ($60) and new front pads ($60), which = time to sell the car??????????????
Or did you need all four rotors ($120) and front and rear pads ($100)?
Yep, your car's into you for $220 = sell the ******.
