Stock Plug for 99-00 SIR/SI
I went to the dealership to get some NGK Coppers for my 2000 SIR. They told me that it came stock with NGK Platinums and said they can only sell me Platinums for my car. Is this true? So I ended up spending more money than I wanted to. Can't find the NGK coppers anywhere.

The platinums are recommended for your car according to Honda, and the parts people will only sell you those, so you don't get the wrong part for your car. But, you can still get zfr5f-11 or zfr6f-11 if you tell them they are for a civic ex.
