What do you use to tint/smoke your tails? Is there a type of film I can put on my tailights rather than using spray paint? Give me some ideas thanks

My friend and I used an air brush and it worked PERFECTLY.

 

i used the stain glass paint that everyone uses to make there tail lights all red .. but if you put on a good thick coat.. it really dark .. i wish i had a pic but it looks identical to that black teg around here

 

transparent vinyl will do

i'm thinking of doing the same thing to my taillights, but would i have to take the whole taillight apart? or can i spray it from the outside?

You don't have to remove the taillights, but it's a good idea.

no, i'm saying, do i have to take apart the taillights and paint the inside? or do i paint the outside of it?

 

outside .. you just need to take them off the car
