stock gsr's dpending on the year can put anywhere from 140-low 150's at the wheels, most people calculate anwhere from 12-15% drivetrain loss. Most itr's put 160-168 stock so again that is close to 12-15% as well.

HP of the engine times whatever % drivetrain loss

Example 195 HP times 0.85 or 15% drivetrain loss = 165.5
195 HP times 0.88 or 12% drivetrain loss = 171.6

i think a 20% of drivetrain loss is about right, but each person uses what they think is right, for me 2wd is 20% and AWD is 30%

Every engine is different and takes mods differently so the formula is never going to be the same so you can only estimate that you car has around 150whp... stock.... at the wheels and 170hp at the flywheel...

so lets say my engine develops 170ps , 168 peak hp at the flywheel after 15% that equals to about 142whp seems true but after i/h/e that is the avg number for a b16a ... like i said every engine is different ...
