PM6 - PM7 question

PM6 - PM7 question about Chipping the ECU
Will a "chip" say a mugen or spoon programmed chip for a PM7 work directly in a PM6 ECU or not. I mean are the chips and programs directly swappible between the two ECU's. I know maps are modified and different, but I want to put a MUGEN or a SPOON modified map for a PM7 (ZC) into a PM6 which is also used on a ZC. Does this or will this work. Been absent from the board for a while, but was making changes to my ride and needed some input.
