Suspension Setup
I'm looking for a way to lower my ITR without sacrificing handling or the harsh ride feel without paying a grip of money. All in all, I want to have the car lower but with the same suspension feel. I would hate to ruin this suspension, and if it can't be done I will not do it. This setup was recommended to me:
Ground Control Coilovers with KYB AGX Shock Absorbers. Do you think that this will be effective for what I want or should I not chance it?
Are there any other setups that are inexpensive, yet effective for my specifications?
TIA

If you drop the car a lot, it will affect caster and mainly camber. Camber adjustment plates will help remedy this if the problem is severe, but if you don't lower the car a ton it is probably unnecessary IMO.
What spring rates are you planning to run with the GC/Koni setup? If you go with a shorter spring like the Eibach ERS, suspension travel will go down, which may affect your subjective opinion of suspension stiffness.

Camber adjustment plates on an ITR! Yea Big Phat R next they will be four-wheel drive with 8 cylinders. When are you going to learn? Please refrain from commenting on things you know nothing about!
Excuuuuuuuuuse me - adjustable upper control arms not camber adjustment plates (a la BMW). Same function - different name.
DB1-R81: I live in the same city as you and I have not yet had the dis-pleasure of meeting you. I know that you have a problem with me (for what reason I do not know) and you seem to revel in dissing me in public. I know that my menial knowledge of "tech" pales in comparison to the wealth of knowledge you possess. In the meantime, I would appreciate it if you just go outside and **** yourself with a stick sideways.

In defense of Big Phat R, he has helped me out on many occassions with suspension questions and knows what he is talking about. Suspension-wise, he knows more than most.
Hey Phat,
Don't get your knickers in a twist, you can handle a little sarcasm, why take it personally; I've got nothing against you. You even seem like a reasonable guy but like I said before it seems I happen to view your comments on many topics where you obviously over looked portions or just don't have the knowledge to put forth an accurate comment. Sure it's a forum, and I appreciate your input, my only point is, think about what your typing, others do read it and are influenced by what you say, read their coments. Oh, and by the way camber plates and adjustable control arms function very differently. Yes, one of their attributes allows changes to camber but their primary function is very dissimilar.
