Default Lightening CRX

I am interested if any of you have lightened CRX. What did you do?

Exactly how does the CRX weight?

And if it possible to lightened CRX to 600kg or approximately 1323,2lb?

I removed all the interior panels (except for the dashboard), everything under the dash (all the A/C and heater stuff), carpeting, some of the sound deadening material, spare tire, and passenger seat. This is for a race only car however, so I wouldn't suggest going too much with the lightening process if your car is a daily driver. As for getting it down to 1300lbs, that will take some work. I'm assuming 1300lbs without a motor, right?

we were able to lighten my old CRX down to 1550 w/o driver.

bumper reinforcements, interior pieces behind driver, everything underneath the dash, lexan hatch, passenger seat, wiper motors, and little things here and there.

we cut the doors up later and put lexan windows and it dropped it down to 1440lbs.

1,323 lbs is about 1,500 lbs with a driver, which is about 4-500 lbs less than my race prepared and stripped gen 2. If you want it down to 1323, you're going to have to start with a gen 1 and replace basically every exterior piece of sheet metal. You'll also be severely restricted with the motor you can put in it. There are tube chassis cars that weigh more than that.
