Default Just Came back from the drag strip.........

just came back from sac raceway tonite. good turnout. saw an nsx run a 12.3 i think. and some nice hondas out there. For me i finally ran my GSR to see where i stand. as you know i have the bsq diy ice box , skunk2 manifold, itr cams and 5zigen fireball catback. and fields controller. i set the vtec at 5600k. and just played around wiith the vtec settings. the best time i got was 15.040
heres is my timeslip hopefully i can read it.

rt. .640
60 2.334
t2 6.467
t3 9.923 * not sure about this i cant read the fold.
t4 12.640
e.t 15.040
mph 93.** something.

this was with full interior with no spare. i was soo close to breaking in the high 14s hopefully with better practice with the rt, and some weight reduction. and the addition with cam gears, jdm itr header, itr tb and vafc and tuniing i can break into the mid 14s maybe low 14s. har har. any advise??

nice times. a little more practice and you will be in mid to high 14's. get those 60ft's down to 2.1 or 2.2 and u will hit 14's for sure.

You probably need a little practice on your launching technique in order to drop that 60 ft. time. 14's should be very attainable with your set-up!!!

How are you currently launching your car? BTW, I've never liked the track at Sac unless they changed it from '94, when I used to track my brother's car out there.

Not to be off topic about your time but why is my GSR only trapping at 90mph? What is the normal trap speed for a stock GSR?

ya you need some tuning. with ITR cams you should be running better times. work on your 60ft times.
