Default Suspension.....where to begin?

Want to upgrade my suspension in the "R". Where should I begin and what will give me the most bang for the buck. Any advice on what to get first would be helpful. Thicker sway bars, Shocks/struts,new springs? If any of you are happy with your setup please list it. I would like to know what most R owners are using.

A good start and bang for the buck would be R compund tires.

Bang for the buck: H&R Sport (Type R specific) $180
JDM 23mm rear sway bar $125

Godspeed carries the sway bar and King has the springs.

Define upgrade....what are you using the car for. The reason I am asking this, is because you "upgraded" your stock shifter to a B&M which is a downgrade IMHO, but that's just my opinion.

A lot of people run TEIN HAs, HRs and RA's

A lucky few have Mugen N1, Apexi Fightex and Endless coilovers

If you're looking to increase spring rates and keep the stock dampers Eibach, H&R and Comptech are a decent start.

Suspension "upgrades" are very subjective. Ultimately what matters most is lap times and car control, but if you're not racing the car then your subjective opinion of what is better is most important. Thus you will likely get a lot of subjective opinions.

For instance, the BMW E30 M3 race guys are now using Rancho 9000s for rear dampers. These are supposedly off-road shock for Jeeps and stuff, but someone has found these to work best for their situation (budget, intended use etc).

You know what they say...Opinions are like ********....everybody's got one.

I want a really stiff setup with minimal body roll. I rode in another integra that had koni shocks and the Eibach pro kit springs and his car was alot tighter than mine. I want something that will surpass his setup.
