86 CRX tranny into 91 CRX

will a tranny from a 86 CRX fit in a 91 CRX ?

gear ratio dosn;t matter. as long as it fits

No it won't fit. There are very few things that swap from a first gen to a 2nd gen. The tranny doesn't have the same mounts nor the same bolt pattern.
