Default h22 compression

Why can you only run type-s pistons in a "stock" H22 block to up the compression. I see as though you have to get the block sleeved to run aftermarket pistons. Can someone elborate on this for me. Oh yeah I don't want to mill the head to up the compression. I'm just wondering if its worth the .5 increase in compression.
