Just bought a '95 Civic EX with a broken auto box. I want to use the car for HPDE and Midwest Council Solo I events, so a 5spd would be nice. I would appreciate advice on what to consider when swapping tranny's. What tranny is inexpensive and good for track use (final drive/lsd, etc)? What can I re-use that I already have (ecu/crossmember/mount/axles, etc)? Anybody need an auto box with a bad valve body? hehe

here is a write up of what is involved in doing the swap it wont be completly acurate though since you are keeping the stock motor cause this write up was done along with a full swap
