Hood Mod.......

If you notice...the hood is arched a lil where it meets the windshield...i was just curious as to how this is done and why.....

washers. i dont like it. from the side view it doesnt flow with the rest.

1. it wasn't cut or molded properly @ factory
2. it's not the right one
or 3. it's been put on wrong.

spacers were put in to allow for air flow. its been done in japan for a while to help cool motors especially ones using forced induction

i think its ugly no offense on to who evers car that is , and it makes your car look like you have a cheep aftermarket hood

i notice alot of drifters use it also.....like in last months something....on the power pages a gunmetal gray 240sx wit an sr20 had it......

HAHAHA.....too bad the Japanese racers got it from good ol American hot rodders from way back in the 40's....lol.

It's been a cheap mod ever since people have been modding cars. It allows hot air to escape out of the engine bay.

I had to raise mine up a bit to allow clearance for my shock mounts

...looks like butt but the car handles better

guessing from the wheels and paint job the owner must mean business, so I am willing to bet their is a nice shiny radiator sitting in the bumper opening

That is an JDM old school way of cooling off the engine and does work..
