friend of mine just went to the local yamaha dealer and asked if he could just buy the graphics off of the 2003 special edition r6, the black one with the red flames, anyway they told him that theres no way he could just buy the stickers(the red flames,red "r6", and red "yzf" etc) he had to buy the complete plastics with the stickers already applied and that it was goin to cost him over $800, now thats a **** load of money for some stickers and plastic, i was wondering if this guy is right or is he full of ****, and if he is full of it does anybody no where to get get just the sticker set

My friend dumped his r6 special edition, not bad, but stickers were scuffed bad. So i ust air bushed new ones, looks better than the stock stickers. If you have the plastics already, find someone who can air brush, and show him what you want done, and it will look just as good, if not better. And not to mention a lot cheaper.

no, i don't. But if you know about air brushing, its something thats easy to do, but looks hella sweet. I have brushed a couple lids, and its a very nice custom look for the rider. i can see if i can get the guy to take a picture of his bike.
