I am buying an engine from an 88 civic si hb to put in to my 90 civic std.
What I want to know is, If I send in my STD harness to hasport and they make the EFDX-SI Harness for me, will i just be able to plug it in and go or will I still have to do some cutting and pinning and lengthening and other stuff?

I need to do this swap asap thats why im asking. Sorry if I didn't notice some topics on it when I searched!

You have to do some repinning at the ECU.

you could just get the conversion harness while your at it for the ecu. make everything all clean

 

i thought the efdx-si was a conversion harness.. either way.. i think my brother and i are going to hack up an si and my std wiring harness and do it ourselves... i don't need to spend the $200 for the hasport one...
