d16 pistons in a d15? did search

Default d16 pistons in a d15? did search

a friend of mine wants to rebuild his d15 and i wanted to know if d16 pistons and rods will work.

the pistons will work in the d15..all d series have the same bore (75 mm) But the rods from the d16 will not work in the d15 because the journals are too small on the d15 crank.

no they dont, the d15 has less stroke than the d16.
